A Readers Digest poll has ranked Horsham 25th best place in the UK to raise a family. The results were based on family-friendly requirements such as good schools, a low crime rate, affordable family housing & high employment. These results were then weighted, based on importance & then measured against statistics from sources such as Home Office crime figures, land registry house price figures & unemployment rates from the Office for National Statistics. Readers Digest then ranked each area. Horsham is already one of the most desirable places to live in the UK, it was voted 2nd place behind Winchester in the Chanel 4 poll 'Best & Worst Places to live in the UK' in October 2006.
